When you drop your phone on a tile and does not crack.

That feeling when you get a new phone and are rubbing it in to all your friends telling them how special you feel and how they don't have a phone like yours well, then everything turns around and you are the one that is in bad position because BANG, it slips out of your hand, you see it falling, your panicking, your friends are screaming, your reaction is everything but good, but nothing helps the fact of what just happened. Once your new IPhone 7s plus hits the ground, it lands screen first and is flat on the ground and is just sitting there. You don't know weather its broken or okay but either way you are ready to yell and scream like there is no tomorrow.

Usually when this kind of stuff happens you just feel like your always the unlucky one and your telling your self " why, why me?" but you still don't know if it's cracked or not. But knowing myself I am just worried about what my parents will say, what they will do and what happens next!!! If you made me pick a couple words to describe my feelings right now and what I'm thinking it would have to be scared like a elephant is about to sit on you and end you ( Lol ) or even as nervous as watching a action packed movie with a nerve racking scene that could end the whole movie, like do you understand how serious this is!

That second when you lean in to grab your phone, you know that its the moment of truth that will decide the rest of your life, also weather or not your parents will ever trust you again with things as expensive as your LIFE. For example your life means everything to all the people around you but to you your phone is the same situation!!

Some tips on what to do before you pick it up are, If its cracked don't tell your siblings because they will go right a head and tell on you in a blink of an eye no matter how much you bribe them. If its not broken then make sure to get your self a protection case that will actually do something to protect your phone in case this ever happens again or if an over 100 pound thing like harambe falls on it, because I am pretty sure we have all been there am I right?

Now once you have spent the right amount of time so at least 20 to 30 minutes discussing this with your friends what is going to happen, then its time to reach in and grab the dang phone. As your hand is moving towards the phone your shaking, your sweating buckets and buckets of water and now when you flip it over you gently close your eyes and wait for the reaction of your friends then open your eyes. BANG!!! your life is saved, theirs no cracks, no marks, no nothing! You just spent all this time wondering and worrying what this means for you when in stead you could have just picked up the stupid phone and saw it was as clean and shinny as a glass cup that was just washed about 30 thousand times. Now that's AWESOME

Genius Hour

For my genius hour project I would like to learn how to create and edit You tube videos and then post them onto my channel!

Week 1 

I want to learn how to do this because I have my own You tube channel and my first couple ones were not the most edited videos but now I am taking on the challenge of making them even better! After today I learned a lot of good things to keep in mind when editing videos, for example don't just add random clips into the same section or it will just be way to confusing, also I learned that you want to make it as interesting as possible so your viewers enjoy it.

Week 2 

So far I am really enjoying my research on editing videos, I have learned a lot and still have a lot to learn. I have been putting together some videos and clips and to be honest they look way better then before and I'm extremely happy with my progress so far.

Week 3
I am using an app called adobes spark video to create and edit all my videos. I found out about this website from one of my classmates, he said that this app was very useful for him when he was making his videos so I toke his advise and made an account of my own on the website.

Week 4
So as you know I have been using adobes spark video to make and edit my videos, but I came across some problems with the website and app that were keeping me from doing what I want to do with my videos which are put a bunch of clips together and sometimes add music but the website or app will just not let me. Now its been a couple weeks and I have started using this other app called you tube capture and its perfect, it has just what I need and more. The video I created with you tube capture is very basic and has no music but I finally was able to put the right clips in the right order without any problems. Here is what I created!

Week 5 - 6
Today I was doing some more research and watching some video editing videos on you tube, Then my brother came into the room and told me we had to record a taped audition for Netflix's season 5 of Degrassi Next Class, And that gave me an idea for my genius hour project because I would be recording him and editing the clips also putting them together so its ready to send to the producers!
It took us exactly 42 takes for one clip due to the fact that he kept forgetting his lines but I don't blame him because he memorized them all within an hour Coodo's to Lucas! The audition was uploaded to my you tube channel but on unlisted and privet so that only my brother Lucas the producers and I can see it! But believe me it is excellent and I sure hope he gets the part!

Week 7
So as you know I have been using you tube capture to create and edit my videos. I have decided to be a bit creative so I looked up some other websites and apps and came across the app called Shnarped. For my first time using shnarped I think I did very well. Here is my first attempt for shnarped!

Week 8
Over the past weeks I have learned a lot about video editing for example like having the camera facing sideways is the best quality in stead of strait. I also learned that editing in general takes a lot of patents due to failure or as I said a lot in the process " imperfect ".

Week 9
Its the end of genius hour and I have learned a lot about video editing and creating over the past weeks.

whats your sentence? My sentence is...

She was the one to make sure that the ones with disabilities felt they belong.

I chose this as my sentence because I have always been around someone with a disability and they are really fun to play with and talk to. In my sentence when I say belong It means that they feel like they matter and they have all these friends like everyone else does. This sentence really appeals to me because I really like being near the ones with disabilities for a couple reasons, for example, they are really cute, they will make you laugh and they want to be everyone's friend. Some people might not like to be near ones with disabilities maybe because there uncomfortable or they just rather not be there but on the other hand if you really take the time to listen to them they will probably make your day or say a joke to make you smile and make you happy. My summer memories!

       I went to Sarnia Ontario for a soccer tournament with my family and my girls from my team. The people who came from my family were, my brother Lucas, my mom, my dad and myself. When we left it was a beautiful, nice hot summer day, the sun was shinning the birds were singing and it was perfect. It was about a 2 and a half hour drive from Kitchener to there, we ran into some traffic along the way but it didn't matter because the radio was playing and the windows were down. We arrived at our hotel named Holiday In, But this was no ordinary Holiday in, this place had a 9-12 hole golf course, an indoor pool, outdoor pool, outdoor hot tub ,indoor hot tub and a huge buffet that was inside and out. Right when you walked into the hotel room it smelt just like a brand new furniture and you could see how much space you had from the front door to the beautifully designed balcony with pretty lawn chairs and right next to the outdoor pool and restaurant.

        After my family and I checked in and looked around the hotel we decided that we were all hungry and went out to eat. We went to a place that did not look very nice on the outside but did looked pretty nice on the inside. As we were walking in we saw this random guy on the side of the road and he was acting very weird and it turned out he was drunk. As we got inside the waitresses sat us at a grey and white booth. After about 5-10 minutes they came to take our order and I had the home made lasagna with extra cheese and it tasted phenomenal but it was so large I could only eat half. So we packed it up and headed back to the hotel, but right next to the hotel was the bridge that toke us from Canada to the United Stats of America and you could see Michigan. So we stayed at the bridge for a bit because theirs a river underneath and a park across the street and went back to the hotel around 8:30 pm. We sat in our rooms watching a movie until 10-10:30 pm then went to bed. There were 2 queen sized beds and 4 of us so me and my mom shared and my brother and dad shared.

         The next morning we got up around 9:45 am and went to the buffet or some breakfast. While we were eating my little brother face timed us and we talked with them for a bit. shortly after we went to the room and got changed for a quick swim before my first game started at 12:00 pm. We toke some family photos at the pool, had some swimming races and had fun! We got out of the pool around 11:15 am and got ready for the game. We left Holiday Inn at about 11:35 am and made our way to the field, we got there at 12:50 and just made before it started. The first team we played they scored 2 quick goals and were beating us at half, but that did not stop us from coming back, right when we stepped on the field for the second half they started but we won the ball back and scored so we were only down by 1. When there was about 10 minutes left we scored again and everyone was cheering even parents from other teams were cheering too. The intensity was very high and we had so many opportunities to score but ended up tying but the second half was way better than the first. Then we had one more game that day and we won 4-1 and I scored 2 goals in that game and that was it for the day. After that we went to the hotel with the team and went swimming and in the hot tub.
When we were done in the pool a couple of family's on the team came out to eat with my family and I at Boston pizza and eat a lot of food and went back to the hotel and my coach Karen wanted us all in bed by 10 because we had a game in the morning.

         The next morning we got up and went to the buffet as a team and all the dads went golfing at the course and got back before we left to the game. Then we all packed up out of the rooms and left to the game at the same field and yes, we destroyed them 6-0 and i scored 2 more and assisted 1! It was one of the best weekend of my summer vacation, what was your favorite part of summer?, what did you do?, where did you go and with who?
